Guide to Using the Online Certificate Maker

Creating certificates for participants of conferences, seminars, or webinars has never been easier!
In this guide, you’ll learn how to use CertifyMeUA — an online certificate generator that saves your time and automates the entire process.
Follow the steps below to quickly generate certificates in PDF or JPG formats.

Important: User registration is required. Please enter a valid email address.

✅ Step 1: Preparing Your Data in Google Forms

Before you begin, you need to collect participant data in a convenient format.
The easiest way is to use Google Forms:

  1. Create a form with the fields you want to appear on the certificate (e.g., “Full Name”, “Event Name”, “Date”).
  2. Once responses are collected, open the Responses tab and download them in XLSX format by selecting Download as Excel file.
  3. Use our free Participant List Preparation tool to prepare your data.

Tip: Make sure the Full Name column is the first column in your XLSX file — CertifyMeUA uses it to automatically name certificate files.
Ensure your column names are clear and descriptive (e.g., “Full Name” instead of “Question 1”).

✅ Step 2: Uploading Your Certificate Template

Go to the CertifyMeUA generator. Click Upload Template and upload your certificate background image in JPG format.

Recommendations:

  • Use templates with optimized resolution (e.g., 1920×1358 or lower) to avoid quality loss.
  • Leave empty space on the design where participant details will be placed.

✅ Step 3: Uploading the XLSX File & Selecting Columns

Click Upload Data and select your XLSX file. Then:

  • Go to Select Columns and tick the fields you want to display on the certificate (e.g., “Full Name”, “Event Name”).
  • Make sure the selected columns match the information you want to print.

Note: Long column names will be shortened in the dropdown for convenience. Double-check your XLSX file to select the correct data.

✅ Step 4: Formatting Certificate Text

After selecting your columns, you’ll see the Text Positioning panel. Here, you can adjust how the text appears:

  • X/Y coordinates: Choose where the text will be placed on the template.
  • Font size: From 10 to 999 px.
  • Font style: Choose from available fonts (Arial, Verdana, etc.).
  • Color: Select text color via the color picker.
  • Text styling: Bold [B], Italic [I], Underline [U].
  • Alignment: Left [L], Center [C], Right [R].

You can also drag and drop text directly on the certificate preview for precise placement.

✅ Step 5: Generating Certificates

When you’re ready:

  1. Choose the file format (JPG, PDF, or EML).
  2. For JPG/PDF — click Generate & Download.
  3. For EML — click Generate EML.

You will receive a ZIP archive with personalised certificates named using the first column (Full Name).

Note: Large archives may be split into multiple files for download.
For EML files, select the email column and enter the email subject and message text.
