These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the use of the website https://certifymeua.com (the “Site”), operated by CertifyMeUA (“we”, “us”, “CertifyMeUA”).
By accessing or using the Site, you (“User”) confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site immediately.
1. Service Description
CertifyMeUA is an online platform for generating, storing, and verifying certificates, including but not limited to online certificates, educational certificates, professional certifications, certificate course completion certificates, and continuous discharge certificates for maritime users.
The platform enables Users to:
- create personalised certificates (JPG, PDF, EML) from XLSX files and templates using our certificate maker / certificate generator;
- generate unique QR-codes for certificate validation;
- temporarily store input data in the browser localStorage during processing;
- automatically transmit technical verification records to the CertifyMeUA database to ensure certificate authenticity.
2. User Obligations
Users agree to:
- use the Site lawfully and responsibly, including for issuing training certificates, course certificates, seminar participation certificates, conference badges, or maritime continuous discharge certificates;
- upload only safe files free from malware or rights-violating content;
- ensure accuracy and legality of XLSX data they upload;
- not interfere with the operation of the Site or attempt unauthorized access to servers or databases.
Users must not:
- create fraudulent, fake, or unlawful certificates;
- submit misleading or false information;
- perform actions that may disrupt the platform or overload the system;
- share login credentials with third parties.
3. Data Processing
XLSX files, templates, and other media are processed locally in the User’s browser.
Temporary data may be stored in localStorage to support workflow convenience.
During QR certificate creation, the system automatically sends service data (id, hash, name, event_name, event_date, created_at) to the CertifyMeUA database solely to enable certificate authenticity checks.
CertifyMeUA does not store the XLSX file itself or certificate images — only minimal metadata required for verification.
By using the Site, the User consents to this technical data processing.
4. Intellectual Property
All software code, design, and functionality of the Site belong to CertifyMeUA.
Users confirm they have the right to upload their assets (XLSX files, images, logos, etc.) and that these do not infringe third-party rights.
CertifyMeUA does not claim ownership of the issued certificates — the responsibility for certificate content and legality lies solely with the User.
5. Liability Limitation
