CertifyMeUA offers a tool for quickly creating a compiled collection of academic articles from multiple DOCX files. This feature allows you to merge several documents into a single, structured publication — ideal for preparing conference proceedings, seminar materials, or scientific collections.
How the tool works
1. Upload documents
Select multiple DOCX files.
The system automatically identifies:
- Article title (first paragraph)
- Authors (second paragraph)
- Affiliation / institution (third paragraph, if present)
2. Article sorting
Sort articles automatically by title or authors, or manually set the order using numeric sorting.
A table displays:
- article title
- authors
- line count
You can drag and drop rows to change the order.
3. Global settings
Configure formatting across the whole collection:
- Automatic page break after each article
- First-line indent (e.g., 12.5 mm)
- Skip first-line indent for centered text
4. Formatting options
For title, authors, affiliation, and main text, configure:
- Font (Times New Roman, Calibri, Arial)
- Font size
- Alignment (left, center, justified, right)
- Line spacing (1.0, 1.15, 1.5)
- Bold, italics, underline, uppercase
5. Export
Click Export to download a single DOCX file.
The interface displays:
- Progress bar
- Error messages (if any)
- One-click data reset
This tool is fully integrated into the CertifyMeUA platform with a built-in table for preview and editing, helping you avoid manual copy-paste work.
Article Validation Before Compilation on CertifyMeUA
CertifyMeUA also provides a free pre-compilation DOCX validation tool. It detects formatting, structure and size issues to ensure compatibility with the article compilation service.
Validation is intended for authors and publishers to ensure a DOCX file meets structural requirements. Registration is not required to use this tool.
We recommend publishers request the generated checklist when accepting articles or abstracts. ✅
How validation works
1. Upload file
Upload a DOCX file up to 1 MB.
The system checks:
- File format
- File size
If the file does not meet requirements, an error message is shown.
2. Extract key elements
The system identifies:
- Title (first paragraph)
- Authors (second paragraph)
- Affiliation (third paragraph)
If the affiliation paragraph is missing, the system recommends adding a blank line between authors and the main text.
3. Checklist
The tool verifies:
- Presence of title
- Presence of authors
- Presence of affiliation
- File format & size
- Absence of complex elements (temporary restriction): Equations, SmartArt, embedded objects
The result appears as a bullet-point list (e.g., “Title found”, “Affiliation missing”).
4. PDF report
After analysis, a bilingual (Ukrainian/English) PDF report is generated including:
- File name
- Extracted metadata
- Checklist results
- Recommendations
